Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty

5.0

This novel went from humorous to violence to humorous again to unexpected beautiful family charms to sudden romance and then there's murder! (while all the while they are in an interrogation of a murder)

Now, this is fiction!

The main story on the POV of Madeline, Jane and Celeste. Madeline with her normal-middle class family crisis dealing with the daughter that she's been taking care of growing up but then turning her head towards the ex-husband and his new wife.

Jane living with her only son, Ziggy and a messed up terrible past.

Celeste, being a perfect and the most beautiful wife of a successful businessman and living in a perfect looking family is actually being abused by her husband!

The question is... who is the real murderer among them?

5/5⭐, definitely going to watch the series adaptation.

Moral points taken:
- abusive relationships leading to traumatic experience of the children that would affect their behaviour
- the biased beauty and wealthy standards of the society
- everything you see that you think is perfect is actually NOT perfect!!
