I've tried to give this a chance on three different occasions and I'm still only at 18%. There's another review that goes into more depth, but this is the gist and I wholeheartedly agree with it: there's nothing overtly terrible about the book, but there's nothing good, either, and so much mildly bad that the whole package is an absolute chore.

I hate leaving books unfinished, but sometimes you just have to.
