Just finished The Things We Leave Unfinished by Rebecca Yarros, and while everyone swore this book would emotionally wreck me—I must be broken because I didn’t shed a single tear 😅. That said, it was still such a good read, and I was fully invested from beginning to end.

This was my first book by Rebecca Yarros, and as a lover of historical fiction, I was hooked. The dual timeline was seamless, with Georgia Stanton’s present-day story weaving beautifully alongside Scarlett and Jameson’s WWII romance. And the letters between Scarlett and Jameson? Absolutely stunning. Intimate, aching, and full of longing—they were easily one of my favorite parts.

I had a small inkling about the twist as I was mentally building out possible endings, but I wasn’t completely sure—so when it happened, it still hit hard. I loved how it tied everything together. With rich history, layered romance, and a storyline that sticks with you, this one easily earns 4.5 stars from me.
