I am a HUGE JLA fan, I will read anything she writes! I was super excited about this news series. However, while I liked this book, it was not the typical amazing book I've come to expect from JLA. I feel like so much of the story wasn't told. Perhaps it's because it's only a novella? There was little discussion of their past connection. They are supposed to be in love but there was little to no buildup. I am hoping that more will be revealed in the next book of the series. Still love JLA!
