Bitch Doctrine: Essays for Dissenting Adults by Laurie Penny

challenging hopeful informative reflective fast-paced

Most of the essays were good, but some felt like repeats from previous ones. Despite this, each one taught me something and is worth the read.

By reading this book I have found two new quotes to live by:
  1. "I don't hate men as individuals. ...  I have, however, increasingly little patience with men as a social phenomenon."
  2. "There's no point being nice in a burning world."
