The Way of Shadows by Brent Weeks
2.0

"I spoke with the count this morn-" Logan said when he was suddenly silenced as the breasts went past. No, not just breasts. The breast. They were perfect. Not precipitously exposed, but perfectly shaped, these floated past him, held in a gossamer embrace of fabric rejoicing to cling to such nubile curves. Logan didn't even see the woman's face. Than, as she walked past, the sweet curves of swaying hips and flash of lean, muscular calves.

This is a passage from a book. And it is not intended to be a joke or some kind of ironic throwback to stereotypical treatment of female characters in fantasy books. It reads like a worst kind of fanfic in a numerous moments when auteur describes various "curves" of various "characters". It's not entertaining, just embracing. And it has above 4 star rating on here.

Honestly the only reason why I picked this book, was because how high it was rated here. I've seen way better books rated much lower than this.

Ya'll should be ashamed, whoever gave it more than 3 stars.
