I’m glad I choose to listen to this one instead of reading it, however I feel like in restrosoect I’ll regret not underlining some of the classical undertones. Does the book deserve the hype? Yes. Is it also overhyped? Yes. Similar to the Goldfinch is sets up a promising picture but does inevitably fall flat and doesn’t hold the grandiose it ought to.
