Perfection!

Scarlet and The Dark Woods is absolutely captivating.

How do I write this without giving anything away! Ah! When I tell you to run and get this book. I mean it.

The world building. The magic system. Incredible. The way this book is written is so believable.

The details and descriptions made me feel as if I was there experiencing it first hand. I was pulled from reality and dove head first into a beautiful but eerie story.

I loved all the characters. Especially Scarlett, so headstrong and never broke character but always questioned her morals and what was right as she had to face a whole new reality.

The relationship between her gran Agatha and her, I absolutely adored. My grandfather and I are very close and their relationship had reminded me of ours. I’d do anything for him. Toward the end of the book my heartstrings were pulled on and made me very emotional.

The twist in this book are incredible and I didn’t see it coming! I mean… I knew something was up! But it definitely wasn’t that.

The ending! The epilogue! Ugh! It’s amazing. I feel very satisfied and happy with the whole story, the plot and ending. The pacing of the story, absolute perfection. I never felt that there was a full moment. I never felt as if anything dragged or took to long or anything in the story being cut short.

Bravo
