The Compass of Pleasure: How Our Brains Make Fatty Foods, Orgasm, Exercise, Marijuana, Generosity, Vodka, Learning, and Gambling Feel So Good by David J. Linden

5.0

Richard Linden does it again. He not only shows the latest, non-simplistic work on neurotransmitters, he tells us why “process addictions” are just as much addictions as are ones to alcohol, cocaine, etc. He gives us some hope for better treatment in the future without wearing rose-colored glasses.
