Powerful, but not my thing.
It was certainly entertaining and held my attention. But this was a massive mellowdrama dump filled chock full of neglect trauma triggers and asshole love interests.
This story will wreak pain upon you, no doubt about that. I was never able to forgive the love interest for his transgressions due to my history of neglect, but if tears are what you're hoping for, you've found a good one. I was promised groveling, which there was, but not enough for me.
I guess I'm not into doomed love.
