Listen… I have been waiting to get my hands on this book, and when my library finally came through, I was hyped. 😆 Book one? It delivered. Twists, suspense, dark romance vibes—it had me hooked. And that cliffhanger? Yeah, you’ll be grabbing book two immediately.
And that’s where things take a nose dive. 🚨
Book two felt rushed, messy, and frustrating. The sharp, clever MMC? Suddenly clueless when the FMC hides in the most obvious place imaginable. 🤦♀️ And don’t even get me started on the FMC—she went from strong to so naive, like she regressed entirely.
