Cute enough book I'd recommend for ages 10 or so and up.
It feels a bit like Percy Jackson mixed up with horse fiction book. There are the gods and some myths, but there's also cute and scary horses who are supposed to fly a race. It worked decently enough, but at times it didn't manage to hit either perfectly. I liked the plots of Riordan way better and I also enjoyed the horses in The Black Stallion" more...
What I like is the slightly lower entrance point into mythology, as the book is less complex or violent that the Percy series.
