The best way to describe this is hopeful turned dreadful.
You definitely wont be wanting to make any major life decisions after reading this book.
I love the back and forth past and current timeline way of storytelling. The FMC really did not fully think through what leaving Earth would entail.
ALSO, I wanted wayyy more info on the wormhole. In the OCEAN? Are you kidding me? I would read an entire book about a journey to it.
