Unhinged
by Vera Valentine
I read this book while doing my morning walk and just... what the shit? After I finished it (probably about 75mins), I could NOT stop laughing... the whole premise is just hilarious to me and I can't stop giggling at how ridiculous it was after the fact.
I know what you're thinking, how the fuck does one have 'relations' with a door? Well, our girl figured it the fuck out... Was it her idea to begin with? No, but you do learn ~why~ she felt the need to bang that door while reading this book and somehow it all just makes sense and doesn't seem that weird after the fact.
Would it have taken ~*me*~ longer to make that decision? Yes, absolutely... there wasn't even that much of an internal struggle about whether or not it's a sane idea.
The ending was probably my favorite because home boy basically becomes a Were-Door and shifts back into a door during every full moon and then she has to bang him back to his human form.
I will definitely recommend this to anyone who has a lofty book goal and needs a hella quick read to help get caught up. If it's been on your TBR list for a while... just do it, I have zero regrets and if anything, it's just going to be a funny story for me to tell in the future.
