Okay once I got to 15% and everything was established I could not put this down. Yes her ex is horrible, like legit evil BUT don’t worry there’s still a lot of levity and humor in this. And with the love interest there is a masterful push pull of angst with humor. One minute we have a billionaire MMC who can jet off to London at a moments notice just to create distance between them (cue pining) and the next we have flying eggplants in a moment you absolutely need to read for yourself it is so hilarious.

I really love seeing sides to motherhood reflected in books where neither route is giving morality. Ella goes through many changes having to stabilize after her pending divorce and her having to work does not negate the WORK she put in as a stay at home mom prior. I was rooting for her the whole time and it was handled so well.

Tanvier is an amazing author and I am looking forward to reading her debut after this! Thank you to good girls PR for this eARC.
