This is fine, but a lot of stuff happens at first, then nothing, then a big switcheroo at the very end. So it sorta feels like the bulk of the book was the time between two events?
Which is life, right? You're born, a bunch of stuff happens, then you die. Life is Steeple volume 1: two big events with a bunch of smaller stuff that gets kinda boring in between.
