I hate myself to enjoying reading these books. The over use of absolutely weird grammar, what feels like old 90’s slang and a very homophobic thought process for every single character drives me batty. 

Unfortunately I have a soft spot for any redemption arc and this books series fills that bubble completely in. I am hoping the book series gets better with the homophobia because it is not necessary and dampens the characters.
