On the Other Side
by Carrie Hope Fletcher
"When faced with the choice between what is right and what is easy, we are encouraged to choose what is right, even if it puts us in a difficult situation. But what happens when you're faced with the choice between what is right for you and what is right for those you love, and neither choice is easy?"
I adored this book. The characters were very likable, but never perfect. It had so many important discussions about right, wrong and the grey areas in between.
The fantasy aspects did throw me a little when they were introduced in the real world and not just in the afterlife, but I actually grew to find them quite endearing and enjoy the magic they brought :).
