I loved this book. It addresses racism and racial segregation in the US, but it also touches upon other themes like family, gender, class etc. There are a lot of intertwined story lines that are all really interesting to read – I would say I did not even have a preference for one storyline above the other which is very rare for me. I thought the characters were all very interesting, diverse, and still believable. The story is beautifully written and very emotional too. It was a very fast pace read which made it hard to put the book away as it was never dull. I would highly recommend this book to anyone really!
