Escape to Polkerran Point by Cass Grafton is Book 1 in The Little Cornish Cove series. If you like fake dating, friends to lovers, unexpected pregnancy (not between the MC’s) then you will love this book. 

Lauren Kirkham is a high flying executive and she has reached a rough spot in her life. She's recently just split from her boyfriend Kit, learned that she is pregnant with his kid and to top it all off she’s lost her job. So she decides to moves in with her best friend Anna who lives in a small seaside town named Polkerran Point. 

Daniel Tremayne is the grumpy local handy man in Polkerran.  He is working on a grand design on a cliff I think. Lauren agrees to a fake relationship to help him out only to realize that her feelings for him are real. 

I loved this sweet story so much. Lauren and Daniel are so adorable together and I loved the banter between them. Cass wrote this story and the characters so well. This is the perfect romantic, easy to read with just the right amount of drama book.
