This book was exactly what I needed. I was in need of a Nora Roberts fix. Thank you netgalley, St. Martin’s Press and the author for my #gifted copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

If you’re new here, hi I’m Courtney and I’ve been a Nora fan for as long as I can remember. I grew up reading her books with my mom. I love that she writes so many romance subgenres and I love them all.

Nora was how I fell in love with romantic suspense. I really loved the premise of this one. I love that she was a police officer. And I want the Fix-It Brothers to come work on my house. I loved the little town most of this took place. I loved the family dynamic and even the semi found family aspect. Sloan and Nash might have been what each was expecting, but they definitely fit. And while the “bad guys” were definitely a little strange, it was an interesting concept for sure. 

This one is out May 27 and a complete standalone. Now the question is will I go on a Nora reread binge?🤔
