Grimoire Girl: Creating an Inheritance of Magic and Mischief
by Hilarie Burton Morgan
This book is chaotic, but I think it has to be for what it is. It isn't one thing or one story - it's about the building blocks of creating a legacy. It's not a How To guide for witchery or study or mythology or learning, it's a shared moment of what those things were for Hilarie and mere suggestions for the reader.
It was a meaningful read to me. I am a believer in legacy, and I feel things very deeply without knowing how to express them. This is great for that.
If you don't love show biz stories, One Tree Hill, or unapologetic space-taking, this isn't gonna be for you. The title is very telling, and it should be taken at its word.
