Loved the art! The muted, pastel, bluish colors feels like watercolor - reminds me of how you see things while they're under water. Great facial expressions as well - the main character consistently expressed sadness but her sad expressions weren't repetitive (if that makes sense). Storywise, the book effectively shows the prolonged effects of grief and how to slowly emerge from it. It involves a lot of isolation, anger, holding back, and lashing out at others. Also, there are problematic characters that I wish didn't exist but are important nonetheless -  the "absentee" father and the opportunistic businessman advancing gentrification.
