Book 2! We are continuing the story of Corrick and Tess. I really enjoyed this book for a couple of reasons and there are also some reasons that I did not enjoy this.
Reasons I enjoyed:
1. Loved seeing more character development with the main characters. We were also introduced to some new characters that are fun too.
2. The twist?? Loved that too. I started to have my suspicions about a quarter through, so once they were confirmed, I was giddy.
Reasons I didn't enjoy it:
1. The miscommunication between Tess and Corrick was getting annoying. Like I know that he lied about who he was, but Tess, come on girl, you've got to stand on your own two feet about what you believe. While she does get there eventually, it was just a little annoying.
2. Corrick has got to get over himself with this whole " I can't open myself up" we get it bud, but it's time.
No book is perfect and that's one reason books are so good! I cannot wait to read book #3 and see how this series ends.
