I’m disappointed. This book is the one liners from the movie but all plot and no backstory or anything extra except the occasional sexist remark thrown in or very sarcastic and snarky comment from the author.

Did I enjoy reminiscing about the movie? Yes.

Would I say I enjoyed this book? Not really. The sexism was too much for me. Buttercup is made the weakest character and I’m just incredibly disappointed.

Also WHY did the author include so much time spent torturing and killing animals? Unnecessary.

Overall Rating: 2.75/5. Not a fan.

TW: animal death, violence, sexism, racism
