The Last Forever by Deb Caletti

4.0

I've always liked books that had something unusual in them that I could learn about. This book centered around a girl, a girl who was determined to care for a fifty year old plant her grandfather had passed to her mother and who her mother had passed down to her when she passed away six months before the book takes place. I really enjoyed learning about this plant, but more then that, I enjoyed Tessa and her story. She was snarky and honest and a very entertaining character, as were most of the characters in this novel. I really loved the way this book was written, as if Tessa was telling us a story. As a big fan of Deb Caletti who has read every one of her books, but a fan who was not a huge fan of her last two books, I feel like this book brought Deb Caletti back. Regardless, I will always be a huge fan of Deb Caletti and I will always look forward to her next book.
