The Secret Place by Tana French

3.0

This is the first full book I've read by Tana French, and I was intrigued and curious after reading several reviews of her work and write ups on her style of writing.

This novel was well laid out, most the characters were strong and well thought out, at times a little to stereotypical. The novel dragged me along I had to see it to the end. I did have issues with Detective Stephen Moran and Detective Antoinette Conway, I felt that they were only two dimensional and the writer only surprised me once with regards to them.

I am only giving this book 3.5 stars, I HATED the ending ... so much so that I was annoyed that I had read the book all together and it took time for me to move on.
