⚠️ Do not go into this book expecting light and fluffy!! HUGE trigger warning for eating disorders, anorexia, & bulimia.⁣

Yes, this is a romance but not a rom-com, it is heavy and tender. Please take the above warning seriously. The disordered eating isn’t hinted at, it is descriptive and detailed. If you are triggered at all by things like that, I would avoid this one. Younger me would have felt inspired (in the wrong way) by the disordered thinking and would have taken the detailed descriptions as ideas and instructions. So please be careful with this book, know yourself and what you can handle. The author has a great authors note at the beginning that shouldn’t be skipped. ⁣

All that being said, I thought this was so well done! I loved the soft and gentle male MC, Adrian. I loved the trip to Hungary. I appreciated how GUY’S GIRL shows eating disorders as not just a teen problem. The love story itself was a slow burn against the bigger story, but it was sweet and it had depth.
