If I could give this a 99999 I would. Enjoyed every bit about it!!!! From the moving to capitalist heaven considering Ava’s communist beliefs, to who she chose, how she got there and everything in between. I don’t understand any rating below 4 stars.
Hated Julian
Hated Ava when she was with Julian
Loved Ava and Edith. Everything. About. Them.
Got lost thinking about the ending and had an entire exciting times part 2 drawn up in my head after.
I also particularly enjoyed the setting and how busy Hong Kong felt. It really set the mood and pace of the story. Big fan of the random characters and familial involvement of the main characters.
The dialogues were my favorite. I will not accept any type of slander against this book.
