No one is black and white, each character has various shades of grey. Once you get a chance to see those rare moments of truth, vulnerability and of their true selves, it makes the struggle so much more delicious.
Story is such a strong FMC, and I envy her, throughout her protecting herself as well as letting her guard slip for her MMCs. They are far from perfect. Once that happens, the magic of their twisted and albeit messed up bond shines with clarity.
Check your TWs as this series is extremely dark. Darker than I thought it would be but could not stop reading.
An excellent close to Story and her guys. ♡
