The narration was as always so damn good. They sure know how to bring life to these characters!

I was very excited for Nero's book but sadly it didn't go as I expected.
I really liked Cinder and the way her relationship with Nero started. She had a rough life because of her family. Despite that she didn't feel like she was less for working the job she had and she was so kind towards others.
I love Nero since Asher's book so it's not a surprise that I loved him in his book too.
Nero was engaged before and he thought he was in love. It was sad to know he never saw love in action except for his brothers now.
Nero is the most hopeful of the brothers in a way. He was the one with a soft heart so it was nice to see him find someone that accepted him for who he was without judging him.
I'm happy they are together. I loved that Nero never thought less of Cinder just because of her job.

Cinder's "secret" was what brought this down for me. Imo it didn't make sense for her to not tell him who she was and for the break up to happen because she had plenty of opportunities to tell him even before they started dating each other. It should come out before they started seeing each other romantically and then put him the feelings and emotions of the break up that happened and then they would reconcile and that could've still happened the way it did. I was not very happy about how things went down but that's just my opinion. Don't let this keep you from reading the book because it still is a good story plus Nero is πŸ”₯.
