Kink: Daddy kink, praise kink, exhibitionism

All hail the armadillo of truth!

Flynn and Braxton were very cute. I loved how Flynn was just so adorable and shy, but he also knew when to stand up for himself and how he felt when it counted. His relationship with Tate was also very sweet. I loved Braxton and his overprotective behavior too. Chara has a gift at writing protective older brothers and I hope she continues to write them.

The daddy kink was sweet and adorable, too. I loved the emphasis on the care and emotions between them, because that is such an important part of the kink for me while reading. Not to mention the sex scenes were very hot!

I really appreciated the small detail that sometimes Flynn was non-verbal and Braxton accepted that. He didn’t push him to talk a lot, but learned to read him while also keeping an open line of communication with the stoplight system as needed.

My little criticisms are small, but to offer them up: I understood the important on the introspection Braxton was doing - and how it avoided internalized homophobia - that was the longest masturbation scene of my life and I felt the urge to skim through it at some points. In general, there were a few parts this book dragged on with internal dialogue and I wish it’d been a bit snappier.

There is a little editing that needs to be done - mainly around comma splices and run-on sentences.

Despite these, though, I really did enjoy this book and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to read a soft daddy kink story with fluff and heart.
