The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides
5.0
This book is intoxicating.
I read it in two gluttonous sittings, pouring through it at a track meet and in the dark garage after my family already left. The pages turn and the story never lags for a moment.
Dare I say this is a perfect thriller?
It’s atmospheric, mysterious, and has a shocking twist at the end.
The point of view is from a psychotherapist treating an artist who’s been silent since she killed her husband. Anything beyond that might ruin the suspense.
If you love psychological thrillers, particularly dealing with asylums and artists, this is right up your ally. I can thank Book of the Month for this one!
