Wow! This book was such a journey from start to finish. I loved watching the main character become more and more unhinged as the story went along and all the pieces that lead to her eventual fate. This store isn't the most gorey I've read from Volpe but it certainly wasn't boring because of that.

It does do a good job on making a social commentary when it comes to beauty standards and what they can do to an individual. Most would not react like this, but it was still an interesting ride none the less.
