I read most of this in a day and while I enjoyed the experience, after a few days I realised it was a bit forgettable. I liked the writing style and there were some poignant moments and clever observations but it's definitely reminiscent of several other 'millennial', contemporary novels I've read. Also, having read Everything I Know About Love and listened The High Low for a few years I couldn't help but sometimes imagine Dolly as the main character which took me out of the story. That said, the different plot strands were interesting and I'm sure a lot of readers will find it a lot more relatable than I did.
