The entire series has been in my TBR for two years. I got it because of the hype but I never picked it up because I had read only a few fantasy books that I didn't enjoyed that much and I was scared I wouldn't like ACOTAR.
Shadow and Bone was kind of boring. Caraval's world was confusing to me and I wasn't a fan of the main character. There was too much world bulding for me in Crescent City. Out of these three books, Crescent City is the one I liked the most and I wanted to keep going with the series but I was told I needed to read ACOTAR before reading Crescent City 2 so here I am.
Alsp, I've kind of been in a reading slump because Fourth Wing is the last book I read that I fully enjoyed and it was months ago. I've been told that since I liked Fourth Wing I would love ACOTAR which is another reason why I finally read it and I'm so glad that I did.
I feel like I'm at the beginning of my Fantasy/Romantasy era and I love it!
