My mom gave me this book too. I'm a fan of Nicholas Sparks' movies, but never read any of his books and to my surprise my mom is a fan of Nicolas Sparks, too. This was a novel of a book. I think it was around 500 pages so it's definitely not a quick read, but I enjoyed it.
