Cora Rose and Lark Taylor have teamed up to create a morally grey MM romance that captivated me from start to finish—so much so  I didn’t want it to end.

As St. Dismas has been controlled by "The Firm" for generations, but to most locals, they are merely a myth. However, Wyatt knows better. So when he finds himself in a desperate situation with no options left, he decides to reach out for help. And within hours, all his prayers are answered, and he finally secures enough money to provide a decent meal and the care his brother, Jackson, desperately needs.

However, Wyatt is fully aware that there will be a heavy price to pay.

But of all the things he anticipated The Firm might demand, marrying a man—especially one he despises—was not on his list of expectations.

Yet for Mattias, this presents an opportunity to bring Wyatt back into his life and his bed, which he cannot refuse and he's determined to make it happen, regardless of Wyatt’s feelings, even if that means resorting to underhanded tactics.

But Wyatt soon realises he has no choice. However, he is equally determined to make their marriage and life together as difficult as possible. After all, Mattias deserves nothing less.

And with plenty of twists and turns, morally grey moments, and spice. Not to mention complex, flawed characters. This was a fantastic introduction to an intriguing new series, and I can't wait to read more!

I would highly recommend Covenant to all!
