This isn’t a book I would’ve normally picked up, but it was my book club read this week. Honestly, it was cute! Once I got about 3/4 or the way through, I really started enjoying it. It wasn’t bad up to that point or anything, it’s just women’s fiction usually isn’t my cup of tea. The ending really made it for me though, I appreciate magical realism and the time twist was top notch writing for me. I loved getting to know young Carol, and I think Katy did too.
