Best Friend's Father by Devon McCormack

4.0

3.5 The start was so good. Bit more of a frat boy vibe than I was expecting but really sexy and cliche in all the best ways. Jessie meets his best friend's hot dad as he's coming out of the shower naked. An unexpected event forces the best friend to leave early leaving Jessie alone in a house with said hot dad. The sexual tension was so delicious. But I'm deducting major points because they threw a crazy amount of drama in the last few chapters then ended on a cliffhanger. So I'm kind of frustrated and annoyed right now! I don't think I'm going to continue with the series. The mismatch end to the otherwise fun and flirty book leaves a sour taste in my mouth. And the cliffhanger doesn't leave me in a state of suspense but rather annoyance, as if my hand is being brutally forced when the stakes aren't even that serious, you know? So I'm folding.
