I thought this book would go deeper into murder mystery but it really didn't. It was like Great British Baking Show that just so happened to be a murder mystery. A co-host dies at the very end, but the main host had a secret of killing her childhood chef. That chef's daughter, who lived at the house too, returns decades later to be on this show to try and find out what happened to her "missing" mom. But that was basically the last quarter of the book. Before it was just GBBS character development of the other contestants. It was good, would maybe read again, just not what I thought it would be.
Moderate: Death, Blood, Murder, Classism
