This book just scratched the right itch in me. I love historical fiction, I love good endings, I love a sense of adventure and mystery, I love smiling while reading. That being said, this book isn’t revolutionary. I also felt the ending was veryyyy dragged out and oftentimes things happened for that were too hand-wave-y and were obviously for plot convenience. But I still really enjoyed the read.
