4.0

There is much to like in this book: Cat Winters is a great story teller, using descriptions and pace to truly immerse you in the story. The main characters, Olivia and Henri, are fairly interesting, and their relationship is refreshingly believable. The topics are promising - early women's suffrage movement. However, the rest of the characters lack any complexity, and make this sometimes seem more like a fairy tale, with evil cackling anti-suffragists and all. I will be keeping my eyes open for more of Cat Winter's book, I definitely enjoy her style.
