Massacre Pond
by Paul Doiron
A quick reliable read. I would like to give this author more stars, but while I enjoy the books for their outdoorsy settings in rural Maine, i do feel his secondary characters need work especially some of his colleagues in the Warden service seem too quickly drawn, devoid of believable motivations. The same can be said for some of his villains. However there are a few bright spots were he does spend time fleshing them out a bit more and they tend to be the characters that span the series. All said, still a good read.
