Watched film adaptation long time ago so knew what to expect about twist but still really well done and captivating all the way to the end. I read the audiobook by Dan Stevens and I highly recommend this version. Points taken off for how naive the characters seemed at times. But maybe only because we all grew up with these stories like this and The Thing, Identity, etc, so maybe we are naturally more genre savvy. This story is literally the codifier.
