Really nice listen for David Sedaris fans - must be listened to, hearing him read his own deranged diary entries for a 25 year period was so entertaining. I decided to buy this period of diaries, because it's when he went from being dirt broke to getting more famous and become a more prolific writer. It was so interesting hearing how his writing changed, how his humour just became more... him, and how much he'd been through. His mother passing away, him doing a lot of drugs lol, meeting Hugh, and finally moving to France. The entire book was like a rambling story of how he didn't change, but became more so himself.
