as a cat owner, this is the most darling book. i am heartbroken in the most fulfilling way. if you’ve got a kittie at home i can’t recommend this more. the perspective shifts make it an engaging story and the slow but deliberate unfolding of the situation makes it a brilliantly anticipated but hopeful ending. loved it the whole way through
