Waypoints: My Scottish Journey by Sam Heughan

5.0

While I am clearly going through an Outlander obsessed phase in my life, I thought it fitting to listen to @samheughan ‘s recently published memoir as I finish up the series.

Heughan narrates his trek hiking 96 miles of the West Highland Way, while weaving in moments from his life that shaped him. It was almost poetic and philosophical. You want to like the person that plays a character you’re in love with, but you don’t expect an actor to be so dorky (in the best sense), loyal, humble, and…well…human. Also, props to him, because anything that gets my four year old to sit quietly in the car deserves all the awards.
