This book was so fast paced and kept me hooked. I enjoyed it but my buggest critique was <spolier>Stella’s childhood traumas play too big of a role in this book and distract from the thriller aspect of it. It took away from the intensity of the book and just made me feel bad for her rather than make her a more dimensional character. The background and reveal of Charles being heavily involved in her childhood and life before she formally met him was kind of odd and didn’t sit right with me either.

I feel for Rose. And appreciate all the therapy at the end for everyone. And Stellas happy ending with a new lady friend!
