I am not sure, exactly, where this went wrong for me.
Technically, the blurb for the book is accurate, and the things happen as you have been led to expect. But, they also don't.
I found myself skipping pages and hoping I would feel that the romance had moved back to the focus of the story, but never did.
While, technically, I finished it, I skipped about half of the book to get there, so I am counting this as a DNF.
